The successful candidate will play an integral role in building and engaging the company’s client base, and creating effective strategies that will promote the long-term growth of our firm. The primary responsibilities of this position are to support GEMKO’s sales team and to champion GEMKO’s marketing initiatives. This candidate is expected to be a key contributor to the sales process as well as an instrumental in building GEMKO’s brand awareness.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and maintain knowledge of GEMKO’s full line of services and technology solutions
  • Execute effective marketing strategies, assist with campaign development, analyze the effectiveness of each campaign and develop lead generation programs
  • Develop and communicate marketing plans, campaign results and marketing tactic recommendations to management
  • Update website content and SEO
  • Coordinate marketing events
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to qualify opportunities
  • Facilitate the creation and distribution of GEMKO’s newsletter, client testimonials and case studies
  • Administer leads, related information, and activities in MS Dynamics CRM system
  • Route qualified opportunities to sales for further development and closure
  • Set up qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand prospect database
  • Ensure marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines
  • Perform sales and marketing administration activities required internal for GEMKO and our external partners (such as IBM, Cisco, Microsoft)
  • Process client renewal transactions from beginning to end
  • Work with GEMKO’s business partners to acquire solution information
  • Prepare and send information to prospective / existing clients
  • Follow up with clients to build a trusted advisor relationship
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years’ experience in sales or marketing, preferably relating to the IT field
  • Associates Degree in a Marketing, Business, or Information Technology field preferred
  • Flexibility to respond professionally to simultaneous demands in a dynamically changing environment
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Equally effective working alone or in teams
  • Ambition, creativity and resourcefulness
  • Strong grammar and written communication skills  
  • Self-motivated for Sales
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and highly motivated
  • Self-disciplined to work independently
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Understanding of SEM, SEO, and Social marketing
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and web analysis tools
