    Responsibilities

    What you'll be doing:

    • Scanning clients’ information for the preparation of their tax return
    • Receptionist coverage - greeting customers and answer phones
    • Assist in the preparation, proofreading, editing, and processing of documents including, but not limited to, correspondence, financial statements, client related correspondence, etc. in order to produce error-free work
    • Assist with the processing of tax returns, extensions, estimates, notices, etc. 
    • Tracking all engagements with the use of Access software
    • Paper and electronic filing of client information; maintenance of filing systems
    • Take detailed messages as needed
    • Coordinate internal or external communications between supervisor and others
    • Organizes, updates, and maintains calendars
    • Able to handle and manage multiple priorities
    • Dependability is critical

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of relevant experience
    • Excellent time management skills, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing
    • Ability to multi-task, take direction, but also work independently
    • Superior level of accuracy in work and attention to detail
    • Knowledge of typical office methods and procedures, filing, telephone techniques, and office equipment, as well as business English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation
    • Strong customer service skills are essential
    • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite inclusive of Outlook and Excel

      

    HOURS/LOCATION:

    • Office hours are 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri
    • This may require additional work hours (Over-time) on Saturdays
