The Bonadio Group is looking for a senior-level Scheduling Specialist to join our team.  This position will report to and partner with the Director of Productivity for the Tax and Small Business practices.  

This role is responsible for connecting with all levels in an effort to lead and drive scheduling related projects and system enhancements that will improve Employee Experience (EX), increase the efficiency of the Productivity team and the client service teams along with improving the quality of our data across the organization. Emphasis is placed upon utilization of the firms most valuable resources, our people, while helping them maintain their personal balance.  An over-arching focus for this role is to also align with long-term business goals.

• Manage Firm-wide programs and reporting such as cross-utilization within the Tax and Small Business practices
• Learn the current scheduling procedures and processes with a mindset of contributing innovative ideas for process improvement
• Create, update, and maintain documentation of Productivity team's processes to support training and development initiatives
• Act as the primary contact for client service regarding general resource utilization topics
• Develop and maintain the technology skills required to function at peak efficiency
• Maintain an understanding of client service terms (Tax related) and concepts to align employee skill sets to engagement staffing needs
• Works closely with Firm-wide Leadership and IT team and vendors to align technology with the requirements to promote efficiency across the Tax and Small Business practices
• Provide accurate and timely reporting insights covering forecasted utilization, actual utilization, and projected full-time employees all while effectively communicating with Director of Productivity and leadership about directional focus of resources
• Develop, implement, and manage Productivity policies that are aligned with the firm culture
• Develop and implement hiring strategies that help maximize utilization and minimize unassigned time, and support employee development goals
• Manage position-related information in written or electronic format
• Adheres to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client/firm confidentiality

Required:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field
• A minimum of four years of experience in professional or public accounting or program/project management experience

Hours of Operation

• Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
• Our summer hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.  
• We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however the ability to work additional hours during busy season may be needed
